WWE Superstar LA Knight failed to make his shot count after he lost to Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel. However, he has unfinished business with The Bloodline. This week on SmackDown, Knight was on the receiving end of a brutal 2-on-1 assault from Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso. As a result, Cody Rhodes came to the rescue to even the numbers game.

When Paul Heyman was boasting about the victory of Solo Sikoa over John Cena this week on SmackDown, Knight interrupted him and vowed to make The Bloodline seize existence. After their confrontation, Knight met Jimmy Uso in the ring. Following a grueling battle, The Megastar was able to defeat Jimmy with the Blunt Force Trauma.

After the match, Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa launched an attack on LA Knight. It was a 2-on-1 situation as the numbers game dominated. However, The American Nightmare came out to help the 41-year-old. Many fans were pleasantly surprised to see Cody because he is part of the Red brand. Watch the video below.

His appearance on SmackDown certainly made one thing clear: Cody Rhodes is not done with The Bloodline yet. The one person who is on his radar is the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns. They are rumored to face each other next year at The Showcase of the Immortals.

It will be interesting to see for the fans now that two of the biggest stars of the company have joined forces against the common enemy. What will the Tribal Chief’s next move be? Roman will not be at the Survivor Series. On the other hand, Cody Rhodes will be a part of WarGames at the Survivor Series against The Judgment Day.

Bubba Ray Dudley asked Cody Rhodes to stop using his move

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso have been using the modified version of their moves, the 1D since they started working as a team. However, WWE Hall of Famer Bubba Ray Dudley is not happy with it. He expressed concerns about the aftermath of using this move. The finisher resembled the Deadly Boyz’s Deadly Death Drop (3D).

The tag team of Cody and Jey uses this modified version of 3D, with Jey lifting the opponent and Cody thrashing him down with his move, the ‘Cody cutter’. Bubba explained in the episode of Busted Open that they are risking their bodies by performing that move because they are not executing it well.

Cody and Jey need to stop doing that bootleg 1D, they have to stop doing it. It has not gone well for them once... it's not a little off, it's always off. When a move goes wrong. It looks bad for the people doing the move because it makes you look like you don't know how to do your own move.

While this new finisher has been receiving loud cheers, Cody Rhodes ends up mostly on the receiving end of it. There have been instances when The American Nightmare landed on his neck. Hence, Bubba Ray expressed his concerns and suggested Cody Rhodes stop using that finisher.
