The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes just made history by winning two Royal Rumble in a row. He won this year’s Royal Rumble from the 15th spot. Cody became just the 4th wrestler to accomplish this feat in WWE.

After the show ended, the 38-year-old gave an interview at the press conference about his back-to-back victories. Cody talked about the previous year and his accomplishments like the 2023 Royal Rumble win and main-eventing the highest-grossing WrestleMania. One of the accomplishments also involved defeating Brock Lesnar, who was not scheduled for tonight’s Royal Rumble PLE for some reason.

Cody was in the final four in the Royal Rumble with Drew McIntyre, Gunther, and CM Punk, and all the superstars destroyed each other in the final moments of the match. After eliminating The Ring General and the Scottish Warrior, Cody and Punk turned their attention to each other and fought to eliminate and win the Royal Rumble match.

Now that Cody has won the Royal Rumble, he has started the year 2024 with a huge victory. Although the fans were happy with his win, Roman Reigns looked concerned as he did not want Cody to win the Royal Rumble. It will be interesting to see how well the Tribal Chief reacts after the match.

The American Nightmare said that after the win, he is now just a 3 count away from the biggest victory of his entire career. Cody also addressed the memes made before the premium live event about The Rock or CM Punk stealing his spot.

The 38-year-old immediately challenged the current Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns, at Wrestlemania 40. It will be interesting to see whether Cody Rhodes defeats Roman and finishes his story or The Tribal Chief will reign supreme again in his 4th WrestleMania in a row.
