Cody Rhodes is one of the megastars in WWE. His triumphant return at WrestleMania 38 marks one of the most hyped WrestleMania moments of all time. In a recent conversation, Rhodes revealed the involvement of WWE CEO Nick Khan in his incredible comeback to WWE.
While speaking on the After the Bell podcast, The American Nightmare revealed that Nick Khan’s tireless efforts were responsible for his magnificent return at WrestleMania. He revealed that the WWE CEO played a pivotal role in helping him transition. Cody went on to say that he is thankful to Nick Khan for giving him creative freedom to work.
The American Nightmare also acknowledged the involvement of Triple H and Vince McMahon. Cody expressed his gratitude to WWE for giving him this second run in his career. He stated that it was the joint collaboration of some people that made his triumphant return possible.
Cody Rhodes highly praised WWE CEO Nick Khan for playing a significant role and giving him the opportunity to adapt. “But I’ll tell you a guy I feel like gave me the keys to the kingdom. It was Nick Khan. I feel like Nick Khan really gave me the keys to the kingdom when I signed and ever since then, every department, everybody, I have such an appreciation for that,” he said.
Cody returned at WrestleMania 38 in a classic matchup against Seth Rollins. The former AEW Superstar has been on top ever since as the babyface. He is also one of the most beloved superstars on the roster. Rhodes is yet to finish his story as he continues his journey on RAW.

Cody Rhodes speaks on his legacy after retirement
Cody Rhodes is one of the biggest names in the wrestling industry and has been carrying forward his father’s legacy. However, the Rhodes family was made prestigious by WWE legend Dusty Rhodes and his eldest son Dustin Rhodes. Recently, Cody was asked about his legacy after his retirement from wrestling. Rhodes presented an interesting answer to the question.
During the Reddit AMA session, Cody revealed the idea behind the legacy he wants to leave himself with. He said that he wants to be “the one in my generation who did the absolute most at moving our game.” Moreover, he proposed some strong words, saying he wants to be the one who has done the most for their family.
The American Nightmare expressed his desire to take the “Rhodes” name into the stratosphere of mainstream entertainment. Cody Rhodes is currently in WWE and is on his way to fulfilling his story. He has been moving forward with a goal to fulfill his late father’s unfulfilled dream of winning the WWE Championship.
