Currently, WWE is on an extensive tour to Germany to hold house shows from October 25-28. Monday Night Raw superstars are the main attractions of the live events. Speaking of which, in hilarious footage from the live event, Cody Rhodes stealthily stole the jacket of The Miz before their match.

In a recently shared video by the official handle of WWE Deutschland, The Awesome One flaunted his tantalizing dance moves. The superstar took off his silver-colored jacket before immersing himself in dance. A few moments later, Cody Rhodes sneakily seized his jacket. The Lanxess Arena erupted with “Cody” chants when the latter pulled on The Miz’s jacket.

After their first stop in Munich, the Raw roster headed to Lanxess Arena in Cologne on October 26. In the aforementioned house show, the American Nightmare was to take on former WWE Champion, The Miz. The 38-year-old seemingly wrestled the match with an injured ankle.

Rhodes wore a cast on his left ankle. The contest ultimately ended with the latter defeating The Miz. However, what remained the highlight was The A-Lister’s dancing moves and Cody Rhodes stealing Miz’s jacket. Watch the video here.

Earlier this week on Raw, Cody Rhodes was viciously attacked by the tandem of Damian Priest and JD McDonagh. The heel duo obliterated the left leg of the superstar with repeated steel chair shots. It’s why he was wearing a cast for the live event. Moreover, Rhodes is slated to face Priest in the upcoming premium live event, WWE Crown Jewel.

John Cena has high praise for Cody Rhodes and his rise to the top

From Drew McIntyre to Cody Rhodes, several superstars failed to see major success in WWE during their initial stints. However, they departed from the company, reinvented themselves from scratch, and eventually came back to perform at a higher level. The American Nightmare also made his surprising return to WWE at WrestleMania 38.

Speaking on The Bump earlier this month via Inside The Ropes, WWE veteran John Cena stated he is extremely proud of Cody Rhodes for betting on himself and paving his own path. Cena highly praised Rhodes’ incredible journey from his WWE departure to returning to the Stamford-based promotion.

I’m extremely proud of Cody, especially because he was bold enough to bet on himself. He knew it was going to be painful, he knew it was going to be a path of growth and now he’s back and now he’s performing at a level even more elite than before. He’s kind of crafting his own path, he’s more authentic. The Cody Rhodes you see is him, it’s the young man I saw speak when inducting his father into the Hall of Fame.

The Cenation Leader further added that the 38-year-old has a better understanding of the business now. Cena also suggested that the superstar has a better grasp of pro wrestling due to the responsibilities that came with his EVP position in All Elite Wrestling. Cody Rhodes has indeed toiled his way to the upper echelons of WWE with years of dedication and hard work.
