The American Nightmare Cody Rhodes recently won the Undisputed Tag Team Championships with Jey Uso. This week on Raw, Michael Cole interviewed the champions in the ring. He threw some hard-hitting questions at Rhodes, which many believe to be provoking. As a result, his wife Brandi Rhodes took to X to take a jab at the legendary commentator.

Brandi Rhodes asked Michael Cole a hilarious question on X. She tweeted and wrote, “Is Michael trying to get punched in the face? Or…?” The former AEW Superstar seemed angry at Cole for rubbing salt in the wounds. Although Brandi isn’t a part of WWE programming, she always remains updated with the current product, supporting her husband.

Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso were celebrating Fastlane’s victory this week on Raw until Michael Cole’s brutal questions hit the former. The WWE commentator asked whether Cody Rhodes diverted from his original goal of finishing the story. Moreover, Cole asked if he was afraid to go after Roman Reigns because he would fail to defeat him again.

Michael Cole left Cody Rhodes speechless when he posed these questions to him, indicating that his story is far from over. However, before Rhodes could elaborate further, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens interrupted the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.

However, WWE legend Bully Ray believes that The Prodigal Son might not finish his story at WrestleMania 40.

Speaking with the Busted Open Radio, Bully Ray opined that The Rock vs. Roman is a mega match. According to him, Cody Rhodes has all the right to challenge Reigns but the Hollywood star will make a bigger headline. “Personally, I believe Cody has earned the right to be the headline. Not deserved, earned. But Rock is the bigger headline,” said Bully Ray.

The WWE veteran had some harsh words to say about the American Nightmare. Nonetheless, Cody Rhodes has been rumored to lock horns with Roman Reigns next year at WrestleMania in what would be their second chapter. However, The Rock’s recent appearance in WWE has sparked rumors of him having a match with The Tribal Chief next year.
