REPORT: WWE has significant plans for Emma following her scintillating return

We saw the unprecedented return of Emma this past week on SmackDown. She answered the open challenge of Ronda Rousey for the SmackDown Women’s Championship. Despite putting up a valiant effort against the champ, Emma fell short by some inches.

The return didn’t came as an actual surprise to everyone as hours before the show went on-air, PWInsider already confirmed that the Australian superstar will be making her comeback imminently. This might be the reason why fans in arena didn’t went that crazy and shocked once her music hit

The night after SmackDown marked five years since she was released from WWE and this comeback must’ve felt like a full-circle moment for her. She even tweeted out the same thing remembering her past, however now she’s just focused on what the future holds for her.

According to Dave Meltzer on his Wrestling Observer Radio, Emma didn’t came back for just a one-off appearance and she’s already been assigned the blue brand as her home for future references. Keeping her on SmackDown is the right move, as it will also help in providing that much-needed boost to the lackluster star power of women representation on FOX.

Emma can bring that charisma back to her character once again

During her previous run with WWE, Emma wasn’t able to extract her full potential. Despite showing signs of playing an intriguing character with what she was given, Emma flopped. She also used to wore black coloured glasses during that phase, adding to her own unique representation.

Emma can indulge herself in some classic feuds with the likes of Liv Morgan, Lacey Evans and many more. Fans will expect more from her current run and they may need not to worry as the new management don’t just stands with random booking of superstars, unlike the previous regime.

This week too, some thought that it wasn’t the best of ways to bring back Emma by making her lose immediately. Being optimistic, she received probably the biggest opportunity of her WWE career that night and pushed Ronda Rousey to limits before losing.
