“He’s a natural worker.” Jim Cornette says Theory is much better than AEW Star

WWE and AEW are two of the most popular and most talked wrestling companies in the United States and all over the world as well. Since its inception AEW has garnered fans from all over the world and established itself as a competition to WWE. The two companies are riding on their younger superstars and have tried building a star for the future. WWE has identified Theory as the next face of the company and are doing everything in their power to push Theory to the moon. On the other hand AEW despite many have seen a lot of potential in Sammy Guevara and has constantly highlighted the ‘Spanish God’.
WWE management and specially Vince McMahon rates Theory very highly and according to many has labelled him as the next John Cena. He has seen a great deal of success in recent times, which began at Wrestlemania when McMahon handpicked him to face Pat McAfee on his behalf. Theory despite his loss has impressed many with his showing against a non-wrestler like McAfee. Sammy Guevara on the other hand as found success in AEW with multiple TNT Championship reigns and also the quality he produces in the ring and also the crazy bumps he usually takes.

Theory became the youngest superstar in WWE history to win the MITB match
Theory after Wrestlemania has been on a roll and has went on to win the United States Championship for his first title in the company much like John Cena. Sammy Guevara who is currently a part of the ‘Jericho Appreciation Society’ has been involved in matches with the likes of Matt Hardy, Kenny Omega, Adam Page, Cody Rhodes and has left an impression on everyone with the amount of work he puts in the ring.
Theory recently made history and became the youngest Money in the Bank winner in the history of WWE. He is known as one of the best in ring workers and has also been praised by many for the hard work in puts in during the matches and during the promos as well. With the two young superstars at the top of their game it always leads to comparison between them. Similar is the case with the AEW star and the WWE star.
Many industry experts and wrestling fans have compared the two young wrestlers as the two have impressed while performing for their respective promortions. Sammy has an garnered popularity because of hi high flying style and the his fearlessness to take insane bumps. On the other hand Theory has everything it takes to be atop talent in any company the attitude , the physic and the mic skills as well.
While speaking on Jim Cornette’s Drive-Thru, he was asked about the comparison between the two youngsters to which he decided to side with Theory. Cornette stated that Theory will be a bigger star in future :
“Austin Theory, obviously [has a brighter future than Sammy Guevara]. Unless either one of them fuc*s up in some kind of personal way or suffers some kind of injury – which with Sammy’s style may not be far-fetched. But just taking into account who they are right now, what they look like going forward, Theory is already with the biggest company in the world and already they’ve decided – even though they don’t know how to do it anymore – they’ve decided they’re going to push him and try to make him a star.
Cornette also gave explanation why he sides with Theory in an almost even match between the two youngsters :
Theory not only has Sammy on size and physique, but also his work. Sammy does all the insane stuff, but Theory, that’s what compelled me to watch him to begin with was that he’s got the basics down, he’s got the little things down, he has the body language and reaction, he’s a natural worker.”
Theory and Sammy Guevara are without a doubt the future of the wrestling industry and of their respective promotions, we will have to wait and see who becomes the bigger star in future. Theory is currently feuding with Lashley and will face him at Summerslam for US Championship.
