“All she’s ACCOMPLISHED already”- Former United States Champion heaps praise on Rhea Ripley

Rhea Ripley in WWE

Rhea Ripley is one of the strongest women on the Women’s roster as of now and is having a great run in the company. Rhea Ripley has been praised for her character work and her amazing in-ring skills. Ripley was slated to face Bianca Belair for the RAW Women’s Championship at MITB Live event this year but was sidelined due to a brain injury. Since her time in WWE, Rhea Ripley has been a one-time RAW Women’s Champion and also won the NXT Women’s Championship once. She has also won the Women’s Tag team championship once with Nikki A.S.H.

This year, Rhea Ripley has been a part of the Judgment Day faction, she had unveiled herself as a member when Edge defeated AJ Styles at the event due to her distraction. The Judgment Day has been involved in a rivalry with The Mysterios and lost the match against them at WWE SummerSlam, after an enraged Edge returned at the event. Ripley beat Dominik Mysterio brutally in a recent edition of RAW, which caused a distraction to his father and that cost him a match against Finn Balor. On the latest edition of RAW she along with Finn Balor attacked Edge after his match against Damien Priest, but was saved by Beth Phoenix. Edge won the bout against Priest.

Bianca Belair claimed in a June interview with Wrestlezone that she was thrilled to face Rhea Ripley at the MITB Live event and that they both had similar histories from NXT to Royal Rumbles to WrestleMania 37 and that they were both women’s champions of respective rosters at the time. Belair stated that she and Rhea Ripley are at the vanguard of a new generation of women’s wrestling, and that Rhea is a good in-ring performer, therefore she is eager to face Rhea at any moment. Bianca Belair stated that as WWE’s EST, she will undoubtedly meet Ripley in the future.

Judgment Day member Damien Priest recently sat down for a chat with Rick Ucchino of the Bleav in Pro Wrestling podcast, Where Priest was all praise for his Judgment Day team mate. Damien Priest stated that everyone is ignorant of Rhea Ripley’s capabilities, which is absurd given all she has done but people were ignorant because they haven’t seen a fiercer side of Rhea. Priest remarked that Ripley and us are now free to do things our way, and that Judgement Day was a watershed moment. He claimed that they all have a good time and discuss the insane things they want to do.

“The world doesn’t even know what she’s [Rhea] capable of and that’s crazy thinking about all she’s accomplished already. The shackles are off a little bit and that was the point of the Judgment Day. Let’s do this our way and now we’re really gonna have fun. Like, we were having fun before. Individually, we were all successful. We were all happy and having fun. But this is a blast, you know? And all we talk about is, like the crazy things we’re gonna do.”

Rhea Ripley, Finn Balor and Damien Priest are speculated to face Edge, Rey Mysterio and the returning Beth Phoenix in a six-person tag match at the Clash at the castle.
