I’ve had nothing but a great relationship with him since the day we met. He’s a super nice guy. He’s one of the easiest people I’ve ever dealt with.

For those who don’t know, the Best in the World has walked on a tightrope ever since he returned to AEW. He had a tough time in the locker room and was eventually fired by Tony Khan on the grounds of abusive behavior. Since then, his return to WWE has been nothing short of a buzz-starter in the wrestling world.

Backstage News on CM Punk’s status on WWE Roster

Ever since the Best in the World again graced the WWE ring on Survivor Series; there have been a lot of speculations. Fans are excited to see which brand will ultimately be the house of the Second City Saint. It seems the WWE decision-makers intend otherwise.

PWInsider has recently shared the ratings of Raw. After several weeks, they skyrocketed as CM Punk made his appearance. Reports are that the WWE Roster lists him as a free agent. It means he can appear on any brand.

This also seems like a plausible move. WWE intends to have the Best in the World feud with Seth ‘Freakin’ Rollins. However, the Creative also wishes to see him feud with the Head of the Table, Roman Reigns. With such plans, having him as a free agent will preserve the integrity of the brand split in WWE.
