Vince McMahon announced his retirement from the wrestling business on this past on Friday. The Former CEO and Chairman of WWE shared a post on twitter and thanked the WWE Universe and said that it is time for him to retire at age 77 and then quoted a line saying “Then. Now. Forever. Together.” McMahon’s retirement came after his alleged involvement in the Hush Money Settlement scandal, and it is said that he paid $3 million to a former female employee to cover up the affair. A fact also came to light during the investigation that Vince McMahon and John Laurinaitis had paid a total of $12 million to several women, who had accused them of sexual harassment.

It was also alleged that, out of the $12 million, $7 million had been paid to a former WWE Diva to whom Vince had coerced to perform Oral Sex on him and when she resisted further sexual encounters, Vince McMahon fired her from the company. Vince McMahon had stepped down from the CEO’s position after being investigated for the scandal but had said that he would monitor the company’s creative content.
