Former World Champion Dave Bautista has been away from pro wrestling for a long time now. However, he still fondly remembers WWE as his launchpad to stardom. Recently, Batista met WWE’s Global Ambassador, Titus O’Neil, at a recent NFL game in Florida. Both cheered the crowd up in support of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The 54-year-old recently shared a couple of pictures from the game. There was a video included showing Dave Bautista being joined by Titus O’Neil in hyping up the crowd. The Hollywood star shouted, “Fire the cannon,” in a dramatic fashion. Therefore, the veterans had fun together during the NFL game.
The last time Batista was seen in WWE was in 2019 when he had his retirement match at WrestleMania 35. The Animal lost to Triple H in a No Holds Barred match, which was Batista’s first loss to Triple H in his career. This also turned out to be Triple H’s last Mania match, as he officially retired in 2022. Watch Dave Bautista fire up the crowd with his energy:
Despite being away from the company for a very long time, Batista continues to be one of the best superstars to come out of WWE. During his time in WWE, he won numerous world championships, was a part of multiple WrestleMania main events, and also won two Royal Rumbles in 2005 and 2014, respectively.
