Elimination Chamber PLE although was an excellent show through and through, the results were somewhat predictable. To save a predictable show from becoming boring and stale, WWE always introduces some surprise in the form of an appearance from an injured or top superstar. Fans were expecting many surprises to appear on the show, as per Dave Meltzer‘s reports.

Before the Elimination Chamber event, Meltzer said that there would be few surprises fans should be excited about. He also stated that it wouldn’t be just The Rock, clearly indicating that The Great One would be there. Unfortunately, the only surprise was AJ Styles‘ involvement in the Men’s elimination chamber match.

The Rock did not appear at Elimination Chamber, hence fans are now criticizing Meltzer for his wrong information. He is the kind of person who always attracts controversy with his statements. Although The 51-year-old was not present at the Elimination Chamber event, it was still an awesome event with great talents and matches.

Dave Meltzer explains why Vince McMahon gave so many chances to Randy Orton

Randy Orton is one of the most successful superstars in WWE and is loved everywhere; it doesn’t matter where he goes. However, in his early days, he caused a lot of trouble backstage due to his poor attitude and short-tempered nature. Dave Meltzer explained why the Viper received more chances from the higher-ups, which allowed him to become a top star in WWE.

Meltzer gave an explanation about this on Wrestling Observer Radio and said Vince always saw Orton as the big star who could draw him money. He violated the wellness policy in 2006 and 2012, but Vince quietly removed a strike because three strikes could’ve seen Orton get fired from the company.

The Viper always stayed transparent while talking about his relationship with Vince McMahon. He was truly hurt when he came to know about the recent lawsuit filed against the 74-year-old. However, Orton was happy with the backstage environment since Triple H took control. Now, the 14-time World Champion is looked upon by many as a locker room leader, signaling drastic improvement in his attitude.
