The McMahon family is arguably one of the biggest families in professional wrestling in terms of impact and power. Now that Vince McMahon has stepped away from the company, his son-in-law Triple H is in control. Therefore, fans are wondering if the third generation is getting ready to get into action. This might be a real possibility, as Shane McMahon’s son, Declan McMahon, recently said that he is open to the possibility of getting into a WWE ring in the future.

While speaking to WU online, the fifth-generation McMahon was asked about the chances of him joining his father and grandfather as WWE in-ring competitors. To this, Declan replied, “I was born into the business… I’m never ruling it out. I would love get in the ring a couple times, but you have to see if the opportunity presents itself, it’s all about the story. I think I would be pretty good at it.”

Therefore, the 19-year-old is the eldest of the three sons. He was recently at WWE Fastlane, which took place in Indianapolis. Declan McMahon is currently studying at Indiana University and is a part of the Hoosier Football Program. Being an athlete will surely help Declan make the transition to WWE if he were to do it.

Declan McMahon was also notably seen at WrestleMania 32 when he walked down the ramp with his brothers to support his father Shane McMahon. The latter famously faced The Undertaker that night in a Hell in a Cell match, which he lost. This was part of the ongoing feud between Shane and Vince.

The Vince McMahon family tree explained

Contrary to a common misconception, Vince McMahon was not the first McMahon to be a part of the pro wrestling industry. Vinnie Mac’s father Vince Sr. was a wrestling promoter and the head honcho for WWWF. In 1982, Vince Jr. took over the company and renamed it WWF after a few years. He married Linda McMahon and had two children, Stephanie McMahon and Shane McMahon.

The two McMahon kids are well-known to fans, as the McMahon family was one of the top characters during the Attitude Era. In the coming years, Stephanie and Shane also held stakes in the executive body of the company. Stephanie is married to WWE veteran Triple H, who is now retired from in-ring action and looks over the creative control of WWE.

On the other hand, Shane McMahon is not a regular and makes sporadic appearances on WWE programming. Stephanie and Hunter have three daughters, Aurora, Murphy, and Vaughn, who are 17, 15, and 13 years old, respectively. Shane McMahon has three sons, namely Declan, Kenyon, and Rogan, who are 19, 17, and 13 years old, respectively.
