Jade Cargill is all but set for her WrestleMania debut this weekend. She’s set to tag alongside Bianca Belair and Naomi to take on Damage CTRL‘s Dakota Kai, Asuka, and Kairi Sane in a 6-woman tag team match. However, one might ponder whether that’s the apt route for her. Some might even ask, why is she not wrestling solo? After all, her acquisition was pompously boasted.

When she signed with WWE, the fans started daydreaming of her inevitable showdown against Bianca Belair. The latter’s name was tossed around as if the two women were Mania-bound this year. And it wasn’t too much of an ask, especially when both ladies were explicitly after each other in the numerous media expeditions they had. However, to even think that WWE has already fumbled, or, some say, dropped the ball with Cargill, would be naive.

There’s a reason or two why Big Jade isn’t getting The EST at WrestleMania XL. A fair ounce of it stems from what Triple H had to say a while ago. The WWE CCO elucidated why the 31-year-old was held back from getting fast-tracked on the main roster. While aiming a dig at AEW, The Game affirmed that he wanted to assure Jade Cargill that she was ready for anything, no matter what was thrown at her.

Hunter alluded to the impediments she had to her in-ring repertoire while at her former workplace. The Florida native then went on to make her WWE in-ring debut at this year’s Royal Rumble. Then and there, she came face-to-face with Bianca. The crowd was at its feet for the faceoff and thought it was nothing but a set-up for a clash down the road.

Why a tag team match is what Jade Cargill needs upon her WrestleMania debut?

As the fans saw, Jade Cargill finally made her first official appearance as a SmackDown Superstar last week. She eventually got to ruffle the feathers, but with Damage CTRL. Now, it could be a strategic move by WWE to oversee Cargill’s in-ring progress without even jeopardizing it.

Had she been thrown in hot waters at The Showcase of the Immortals in a one-on-one matchup, there was a chance it would’ve backfired. Despite being pegged as a once-in-a-generation athlete, the butterflies in the stomach can plague anyone.

Picture that: WWE’s biggest female investment in a long while, inadvertently catching the ire of their fans at WrestleMania. It’s disastrous to even think of. Hence, by having her in a tag match, the former AEW TBS Champion will not only gain indispensable experience but leave fans craving for more.

And speaking of Big Money Jade’s “dream” match with Belair, it’s inevitable. However, a methodical burn could do the wonders. Who knows what’s the shelf life of their budding camaraderie. A break-up at some point might lead to their match. And, that would be a big-time money printer.
