Following last week’s episode of SmackDown, Cody’s WrestleMania saga has become the talking point of every wrestling fan. Social media posts and comments are flooded with the ‘WeWantCody’ chants. However, it may be a problem for some when those chants even hijack posts of the WWE superstars.
NXT superstar Dijak took to X and shared a post with a special request to the fans. He explained to the WWE community that there’s nothing wrong with supporting Rhodes but to only write the ‘WeWantCody’ chants under the relevant post. Dijak expressed his concern, stating that flooding the comment section with chants on a young NXT talent’s post will only reduce his deserved spotlight.
I’m not talking about my stuff because honestly, I couldn’t care less, but if you’re going to hijack a comments section in support of Cody maybe stick to the relevant ones because flooding the posts about young excited NXT talents just sends the wrong message.Dijak on his X
The fans also showed their support for his post and agreed with his statement. Dijak came out victorious in a fantastic match against Joe Gacy in a no-disqualification match at the NXT PLE Vengeance Day. Both superstars went through hell and tried to destroy each other, but Dijak finally came on top.
There is an enormous amount of support shown for the American Nightmare, as the promo between The Rock and Roman officially became the most disliked video in just a few hours. The fans want to see Cody in a WrestleMania main event against Roman Reigns for the title. It will be interesting to see whether WWE alters its plan after seeing such a backlash against The Rock.
Dijak reacts to Carmelo Hayes turning heel and attacking his best friend Trick Williams on social media
Vengeance Day surely lived up to its name, as former NXT Champion, Carmelo Hayes, finally betrayed his friend, Trick Williams. Hayes finally lost patience and attacked Williams after the latter lost the match against NXT Champion, Ilja Dragunov. Fellow NXT superstar, Dijak, had something to say about the betrayal on social media.
The 36-year-old took to X and shared a post saying he was always right about Hayes and that he would turn on his friend someday. An unknown person brutally attacked Williams backstage, making him unable to compete in a Fatal 4-Way match for the number one contender for the NXT title. Soon it was revealed that it was Melo all along behind the attack, and the reason could be jealousy for his best friend getting more spotlight than him.
Oh look Dijak was right about Melo. *pretends to be shocked*Dijak on his X
The Trick Melo gang was unable to win the Dusty Cup Tag Team Classic tournament after a misunderstanding. The fans are excited to see how this storyline plays out, as Hayes and Williams are both beloved by fans and are the future of WWE. It will be interesting to see how Trick processes all of this and what his response will be next week.
