The more individuals agree to donate their body parts, the better doctors and scientists understand everything. When huge personalities agree for such deeds, many others get influenced by them and follow their notion. Recently, NXT Superstar Dijak took to X to announce he would be donating his brain for concussion research.

Wrestlers take their bodies to extremes throughout their careers. Therefore, it is safe to conclude that their bodies go through a lot of damage and breakdown. Taking awful landings and falls can damage the brain to some extent. So, the step taken by Dijak proves to be vital, especially in the field of science.

In his X post, the 36-year-old Superstar asked wrestlers interested in this cause to contact Chris Nowinski, a retired professional wrestler. Chris’ pro wrestling career ended abruptly at Royal Rumble 2003 after getting a concussion due to a mistimed double dropkick. Since then, he has switched to working as a CTE researcher and founded the Concussion Legacy Foundation in 2007 to raise awareness about concussions.

Moreover, WWE legend Rob Van Dam will be donating his brain and spine for CTE research. Dijak stated how he agreed to it nine years ago. The former T-Bar has become a big name in NXT since his return in 2022.

Dijak will be involved in a major match at NXT Stand & Deliver

It will be quite a hectic week for WWE next week. Multiple shows will happen in consecutive days. Starting with the Speed tournament on April 3rd until Raw-after ‘Mania XL. Moreover, NXT Stand & Deliver is slated to go down on the day of WrestleMania Saturday. The main event of the PLE will be Trick Williams vs. Carmelo Hayes. However, one match that can easily overshadow it is the NXT North American title match.

The NXT North American Champion, Oba Femi, will defend his coveted title against Dijak and Josh Briggs in a triple threat bout. Oba defeated Dragon Lee to capture the title. It is safe to conclude that his upcoming match will be his biggest title threat. Dijak has wrestled the likes of Baron Corbin and Ilja Dragunov but hasn’t won any championships in his career.

All three superstars are formidable forces of nature to be dealt with. The young superstar will cross-face Dijak for the first time in WWE. He has already defeated Briggs in an encounter for the title. With the big match scheduled for next week, fans are eager to witness whether Oba has what it takes to defeat his adversaries.
