Dominik Mysterio finally teases a HEEL turn in an unexpected turn of events on RAW

Dominik Mysterio’s heel turn has been teased for a long time now. While we have continuously witnessed some rift between the father son duo after Edge entered the storyline who saved them from The Judgement Day at Summerslam. While Edge and Mysterio’s friendship is 20 years in the making, it is also natural for Dominik to feel insecure about his father choosing his friend over his son.

In the past weeks we have Dominik’s visible tension with Edge also transcending towards his father Rey Mysterio possibly hinting in a heel turn. But, every time it seems that Dominik is about to sabotage, Mysterio calms him down by explaining that everything is fine between them and whatever he is doing is in the best interest of both. But last night on Raw we might have gotten the biggest hint of Dominik turning a heel.

Dominik Mysterio teases a major heel turn at RAW

Dominik Mysterio
Dominik Mysterio has been teaming up with Rey Mysterio since his debut and have even won Tag Team titles once.

Last night Edge was confronting The Judgement Day when he announced that he was not alone and had some help by his side. The Mysterio’s would then appear out of the blue to attack the Judgement Day with Kendo sticks creating a mayhem in the ring. However when Dominik was left alone with Rhea Ripley in the ring, he was unable to hit Ripley and even surrendered his stick to her after Ripley said something to him.

It would be then announced that Rey Mysterio would be teaming up with Edge at Clash at The Castle to take on The Judgement Day’s Finn Balor and Damian Priest. Dominik Mysterio was then seen backstage talking with his father about how he had thought that it would be a “family thing” at Clash at The Castle but instead he chose Edge over him for the match.

Mysterio would then make him understand that for this important match he needs experience by his side and who would be better than Edge to support him. He also said Edge was also like his family and that is why he chose him. But Mysterio also assured Dominik that he’ll also require his support in the corner as well, to which Dominik agreed.

During the whole night, the interesting thing to notice was Dominik’s facial expressions, as he looked intimidated by the Judgement Day and especially Rhea Ripley. While Rhea Ripley would be on The Judgment Day’s side, Dominik would be in Mysterio’s corner, now many fans and observers have already started to note the character change and have hinted that we could probably see Dominik turning heel at the premium live event costing Mysterio the match.
