Drake is one of the world’s most renowned music artists. He is popular all over the world for entertaining fans with his new songs and albums. Just a few days ago, he launched a new song named ‘Wick Man’ from his latest album, ‘For All The Dogs Scary.’ What became the highlight was that Drake shockingly name-dropped WWE legend John Cena in his song.
John Cena is one of the few superstars from WWE who has carried the success of wrestling into the Hollywood film industry, along with the likes of The Rock and Dave Bautista. Cena’s popularity extends beyond the realm of pro wrestling. Therefore, it’s not that surprising that his name came up in the lyrics of Drake’s song.

In the song, Drake expresses that he has become expressionless, and John Cena wouldn’t know the emotions and pain he is wrestling with. The amalgamation of metaphor and the WWE legend’s name caught my eyeballs. The lyrics are, “I’m almost expressionless. John Cena wouldn’t know the emotions that I wrestle with.”
Drake’s song is part of his latest album, ‘All The Dogs Scary Hours Edition‘. However, this isn’t the first time that a wrestler’s name featured in the lyrics of a song. Popular rapper Eminem once mentioned Macho Man Randy Sav*ge in his song ‘Lose Yourself’. The nature boy Ric Flair’s name is in the song ‘Can’t Tell Me Nothing’ by Kanye West.
Paul Heyman announces John Cena will never be seen again
On the latest episode of SmackDown, Paul Heyman came out with The Bloodline members Solo Sikoa and Jimmy Uso to address the WWE crowd. Heyman mocked the crowd by saying that Sikoa has officially retired John Cena after he brutally defeated him by hitting 10+ vicious Samoan spikes at Crown Jewel. He was later interrupted by LA Knight.

Despite recent WWE promos featuring John Cena, fans believe his in-ring return is unlikely due to his busy schedule in Hollywood. Cena’s movie projects, interrupted by a strike, will keep him occupied for the foreseeable future, dimming hopes of a WWE comeback anytime soon.
It will be interesting to see whether the Cenation Leader returns to WWE again for one more run or if the fans have truly seen the last of him. The WWE Universe can expect to see John Cena during the Royal Rumble season next year.
