McIntyre has been supportive of India due to the love he gets from there and has shown his gratitude many times. One such moment happened on X as he congratulated Virat Kohli and the entire Indian team for their feat in the Cricket World Cup 2023.
The Scottish Warrior took on X to congratulate Virat Kohli. He lauded Kohli and defined his King status as the ultimate knock of his career. He congratulated the Indian great for reaching a milestone of 50 ODI centuries and surpassing Sachin Tendulkar’s record. McIntyre even mentioned India’s success, as they have made their way to the finals of the World Cup after 12 years.
The ongoing Cricket World Cup 2023 saw a semi-final match between India and New Zealand. Virat, coming one down to the match, played brilliantly and completed 100 runs in 106 balls. Kohli has been described as the King of Cricket, and such record-breaking achievements are evident in his nickname.

Drew McIntyre predicted Virat Kohli’s 50th ODI century back in January 2023
Drew McIntyre is one of the biggest cricket fans in WWE right now. The Scottish Warrior has been vocal about ongoing events in the cricket world and especially praises the Indian Cricket Team at instances. A moment in January 2023 even saw him predict Virat Kohli’s record-breaking century.
McIntyre took on X to post a picture of Kohli raising his bat high in celebration of his century. Drew described that knock of Virat as ins*ne, stating that he is of a whole different breed. He added a goat emoji to the King’s greatness while claiming to go past Sachin Tendulkar’s record and complete 50 ODI tons.
The moment was Virat’s 166 not-out knock in only 110 balls against Sri Lanka. The match happened in Kerala as a part of Sri Lanka’s tour of India for three T20s and ODIs. Kohli came into the one-down position and secured himself till the end to hit the 46th century of his ODI career on January 15, 2023.
