Drew McIntyre has become one of the most interesting and intriguing characters in the WWE as of late. Since CM Punk returned to WWE, huge animosity has arisen between him and The Scottish Warrior. Every week, the 38-year-old Superstar puts the Best in the World on notice through his mischevious efforts. On Raw this week, both of them participated in a huge war of words involving Seth “Freakin” Rollins.
The 2-time WWE Champion took to Instagram to post a clip showing the World Heavyweight Champion making his entrance. And no, the Scot is not a fan of Rollins; he instead posted the video about himself flashing a fan. When a member of the WWE Universe claimed Drew McIntyre “sucked,” he decided to pick up his kilt and flash the rude fan.
The segment between CM Punk, Rollins, and McIntyre had the fans invested in the entirety of it. There is no denying that none of the three men like each other, and they tried their best to roast their adversaries. During the segment, McIntyre claimed he’s “The Chosen One.” The Second City Saint probably went off-script to ask his biggest fanboy (pun intended) the name of the person responsible for calling him that. This left the WWE Universe ablaze following Punk’s mentioning.
Moreover, The Cookie Master broke some PG rules to call both the Superstars “dipsh*ts.” The Voice of the Voiceless even mentioned Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson during his promo. At last, Punk cleared the air regarding his WrestleMania role and involved himself in the Seth Rollins vs. Drew McIntyre title match at the Showcase of Immortals.
Drew McIntyre takes yet another shot at CM Punk
On Raw this week, despite fans clamoring for CM Punk to serve as Special Guest Referee, he decided to do what he does best and speak during the match. Therefore, Phil will commentate on the same match he wanted more than anything. However, McIntyre did not back down from shooting at his arch-nemesis with yet another jab at him.
The Chosen One took to X to ask Punk not to get injured while wearing the headphones for commentary. This is not the first time that the Chicago native has been ridiculed for his injury issues. Earlier in the past, The Visionary also called him “fragile” for getting injured at the Royal Rumble 2024. However, Punk hasn’t recovered yet and still sported the robotic arm cover on his right arm on Raw.
McIntyre will face The Revolutionary for the World Heavyweight Title at WrestleMania XL. But, it seems both the Superstars are engaged in other feuds of their own, despite being rivals heading into the Grandest Stage of Them All. Rollins has himself stated that he is more focused on his match with Cody Rhodes against The Bloodline. Meanwhile, the Scottish wrestler hasn’t stopped taking shots at Punkster.
