Major update on Drew McIntyre after his terrible Food-poisoning incident

Drew McIntyre

Yesterday afternoon brought some bad news for the fans of Drew McIntyre as he suffered food poisoning this weekend. He even gutted throughout Smackdown and received level lV treatment to help him make through the taping. As a precautionary measure, WWE has pulled out McIntyre from all live events forthcoming.

But the good news that is making rounds this morning on Monday is that McIntyre is feeling a lot better as of now and he’s slowly getting back into the grove as well. He might hit the gym very soon and start getting into the process of returning on the road in no time.

McIntyre was involved in a segment with Karrion Kross and Scarlett on Smackdown where the Doomsday tried to once again launch a sneak attack from behind but the Scottish Warrior was aware this time around and caught Kross on the backhand. McIntyre then tied Kross with the strap and unleashed some scorching swings on his open back.

However, the seductive Angel of Doom Scarlett Bordeaux threw a fireball shot towards Drew which almost caught him off guard which was enough to make Drew McIntyre stammer on his feets and then the couple took advantage of the situation putting McIntyre to sleep. Kross applied his Kross Jacket submission hold on the former WWE Champion until he was forced to gasp for breathe.

This year’s WWE Extreme Rules event promises to be real extreme affair unlike it’s last edition which had only 1 gimmick match. Speaking about one of the top matches booked for the card in Philadelphia from the blue brand, Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross will unleash their animal where it matters the most in a Strap match.

Last time we saw this stipulation for The Fiend Bray Wyatt vs. Daniel Bryan at Royal Rumble back in 2020 for the Universal Championship where the Fiend dismantled Bryan to retain the gold. But don’t sleep on McIntyre vs. Kross as it promises to be another one hell of a fight.
