Shortly after, he was interrupted by McIntyre. He retorted Uso and made a shocking assertion, saying Punk would tear down WWE Raw. Moreover, Uso lavished praise on the Straight Edge Superstar in a recent interview.

The 38-year-old then proceeded to say that Nick Aldis should take Punk to SmackDown because nobody in the Raw locker room appreciates his presence. When the crowd began to boo McIntyre, he quickly silenced them by stating that they didn’t know Punk personally. Furthermore, he has traveled around the world with the 45-year-old, so he knows him better than the fans, asserted McIntyre.

The Scottish Warrior was not reluctant to fire implicit potshots at the Straight Edge Superstar in the past few weeks. Moreover, the two men finally came face-to-face in a backstage segment on Raw this week. The 45-year-old inadvertently ran into McIntyre backstage. Upon seeing Punk, the latter stated that he doesn’t care about the Second City Saint finishing his story.

Furthermore, the 38-year-old made it clear that he only cares about finishing his story, which is winning the World Heavyweight Championship. Later, Raw GM Adam Pearce clarified that the former WWE Champion will get a title opportunity against Seth Rollins on the first Raw of 2024.

This would be McIntyre’s second shot at claiming the big gold. The superstar once unsuccessfully challenged Rollins at WWE Crown Jewel.
