WWE superstar Drew McIntyre extends his best wishes to captain Rohit Sharma and the Indian Cricket Team for the forthcoming ICC World Cup 2023 tournament. The former WWE Champion shared a sharp picture of him donning the Indian jersey, accompanied by a heartfelt message.

The sensational photo was coupled with a wholesome message. He extended his good wishes to the Indian Cricket Team, tagging Rohit Sharma, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Virat Kohli. His message read, “Good luck to @ImRo45 and the rest of his team as India get ready to host the Cricket World Cup. The hospitality and love you show me every time I’m there is amazing.”

Drew McIntyre concluded the tweet by praising Indian people for their exceptional hospitability and welcoming demeanor. McIntyre’s social media posts continue to remain a manifestation of his admiration for India and its people.

The ICC World Cup 2023 tournament is all set to commence on October 5. The ODI World Cup is returning to India after more than a decade. In his recent visit to the country, The Scottish Warrior threw light on the possibility of dabbling in Bollywood cinema.

During the promotional spree ahead of WWE Superstar Spectacle, Hindustan Times raised a question about Drew McIntyre’s interest in doing Bollywood movies. McIntyre had quite an interesting answer. The 38-year-old admitted he would be willing to do movies if the right opportunities arise. He also expressed enjoying his time shooting with Bollywood stars, John Abraham and Varun Dhawan, for an advertisement.

The Scottish Warrior said, “I mean if the opportunity arises, I’m always going to explore it. I’m just hearing now, the commercials with John Abraham winning a bunch of awards. It was so much fun to film those commercials, and the process was fun to see. The result was incredible. And you never know what the future holds for Drew in Bollywood, but I’m open to everything,” leaving the windows open for a potential Bollywood debut.
