The WWE Universe is rumbling from its nose to the toes after what they witnessed on Raw last night. To even the odds in his camp, Cody Rhodes announced Randy Orton as the fifth member of his team at Survivor Series. The Viper will make his in-ring return directly inside the sadistic WarGames structure. And one of his foes, Drew McIntyre, has sent out quite a message for Orton.

After the show went off-air, McIntyre took to X and posted a goofy note. He waved to darkness and dropped an image of their previous singles encounter they had on Raw back in 2020. Not only that, McIntyre and Orton have had numerous battles over the WWE Championship as well. During the Thunderdome era, The Scottish Warrior’s life was a living hell due to the unbridled tactics of The Apex Predator.

McIntyre did his best to repel the onslaught from The Legend Killer. However, this time around, things are completely different. Now, there is a reversal of roles. Drew McIntyre cemented his heel turn on Raw by aligning himself with The Judgment Day for the WarGames match. Meanwhile, Randy Orton has the imagination of the fans behind him.

Last night, fans expected Randy Orton to show up in person rather than just being announced for Survivor Series. However, WWE had to reveal his participation for a very specific reason. Still, without even naming The Viper, Cody Rhodes extracted some rampant crowd reactions for the man he’s had a legacy with. Whether he shows up directly at Survivor Series or this week’s SmackDown, Randy Orton’s return entrance is going to be something.

As of writing, Randy Orton’s return announcement clip from Raw got as many as 2.5 million views on X itself. It’s a staggering amount, considering the clip went up less than 10 hours ago. Meanwhile, on YouTube, the video has yet to go public in the subcontinent.

A while ago, WrestleVotes reported an interesting tidbit on how WWE will handle Randy’s comeback. It was made clear that the company would heavily promote The Viper through its social media. Also, new merchandise for The Apex Predator will go up on the WWE Shop shortly.

It’s clear as daylight that WWE wants to present Randy Orton’s return as the biggest deal possible. The fans have eagerly waited for this moment, and it’s all coming to life. The excitement of the WWE Universe is at its peak, as they are going to witness The Apex Predator after nearly 1.5 years.
