When The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre arrived on the Raw last night, he was in a good mood, trolling and mocking CM Punk on his way to the arena. However, things didn’t go well for him when he was involved in the segment with Punk and Seth Rollins. After the segment, he was seen talking with an unlikely ally backstage, plotting his revenge.
Enraged by Rollins and Punk, the 38-year-old decided to make the latter’s life difficult and did the unthinkable. He was seen talking with Paul Heyman, potentially forming an alliance to take down the duo. McIntyre ultimately got his revenge, as he blindsided the champion and floored him with a Future Shock DDT amidst the chaos caused by the Bloodline.
Prior to this conversation, the Best in the World came out with his arm all strapped up. As he was addressing the WWE Universe, Drew McIntyre, as expected, started to rant at CM Punk. The two heavyweights had a heated exchange, as while McIntyre boasted about injuring him, Punk called him a coward.
The Visionary joined the frame and added more spice to this three-way rivalry. All three stars took shots at each other, but it was Seth Rollins who got the final laugh, as he hit a Curb Stomp on McIntyre. It looked like the Scottish Warrior got puzzled into his own words as he focused on Punk instead of Rollins.
With Punk officially commentating on the match between Rollins and McIntyre, this rivalry just got even more intense. The Visionary will pull double duty at WrestleMania, as he will battle The Rock and Roman Reigns alongside Rhodes in a tag match. Therefore, McIntyre might get involved in this match as well following what transpired last night.
Drew McIntyre didn’t stop his attacks on CM Punk through social media
The Scottish Warrior Drew McIntyre continued his relentless attacks on Punk’s injury through posts on social media. He mocked The Second City Saint for his injury once again after last night’s segment on Raw.
McIntyre took to X and warned him not to injure himself again in an attempt to put on a headset. This was in reference to the five-time WWE Champion’s role at WrestleMania and his recent injury concerns. Interestingly, Rollins also took a similar dig at Punk, saying he couldn’t even count as a referee due to his torn triceps.

As of now, it is still not clear when the 45-year-old is going to make his in-ring return. A few weeks ago, he revealed that it would take approximately six to eight months for him to fully recover. Although fans do miss seeing him in action, Punk’s presence on the commentary table won’t disappoint them.
