Drew McIntyre is currently being portrayed as one of the most liked celebrities inside the squared circle. Currently signed in to the SmackDown brand of the company, McIntyre has made a massive fan following for himself. He has given multiple enthralling matches that has caused the audience to stick to the company.
His match against Roman Reigns at the Clash At The Castle was a mind boggling match. The two superstars fought with all their might for the title. It was ultimately Roman Reigns who walked out with the title. However, Drew McIntyre was the one who had the audience’s support and thus ruled the event.
Drew entered the WWE as a babyface and the company pushed him a lot while he was making his name for the company. He recently revealed before the audience a backstage story for his entrance. He recalled how Vince McMahon helped him be the man he is today.

Vince McMahon helped Drew McIntyre walk upto the ring
McIntyre told on NBC Sports Boston’s “Ten Count” podcast the idea behind his entrance with the sword. “The idea was that I was gonna walk to the ring with a sword on my back and then get in the ring with a sword on my back, pull it out and raise it.”
The outfit however was very uncomfortable since it contained the prop attached to the dress itself. The sword would keep hanging all over and there was a huge possibility that it might get caught in the ropes. This would make the entry drastic and cause a negative impact on his reputation.
When Drew discussed the concern with the then CEO Vince McMahon. He thought and provided him with an excellent alternative solving McIntyre’s concern. It was so good that Drew adapted it as his signature.
“We went to the stage and five minutes later he created the entrance where I walk out, hold up the sword, spin it around, shove it in the stage“. Vince McMahon proved to be a blessing for Drew McIntyre. It was under his guidance and idea only that he was able to establish a name for himself.
Vince McMahon has been a very complex person. The WWE Superstars including Charlotte Flair haven’t missed any opportunity to praise him for his support. Another set of the superstars feel that the company has progressed a lot after he retired from the same. The future of WWE now lie in the hands of Triple H.
