The release of Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam is almost around the corner, and he has already said that this is his most ambitious undertaking to date. Dwayne has amassed this kind of recognition in the movie business through acting in several successful productions over the years.
Before making his full-time debut in the film industry, Dwayne Johnson was a well-known pro wrestler. In that field, he went by The Rock, and in 2001, he made his big Hollywood debut as the Scorpion King in the big film The Mummy Returns.
Dwayne Johnson reveals his introduction to the movie industry was not easy

Dwayne Johnson admitted that when he made the decision to break into Hollywood, a lot of issues arose for him because he was a pro wrestler and everyone was advising him to use his real name rather than using his stage moniker, The Rock, in the film industry.
Johnny Depp and Will Smith were at the top of the industry at the time, according to Dwayne Johnson, and he was too big for any position. He had to lose weight and work out less to become a little less muscular in order to be obtaining roles in other movies and other things.
Dwayne followed all of this for a while, but he eventually decided to stop. He claimed that a career would not exist if he was not being himself, and as a result, he began to get more and more muscular every year, eventually rising to the top of Hollywood after being top of the WWE for a long time.
“I was told, ‘Well, if you wanna make it if you want to be a star then you can’t call yourself The Rock. Don’t talk about pro wrestling. You gotta lose weight, go on a diet, you’re too big, don’t go to the gym as much,’” Dwayne Johnson added. “If you don’t know any better you buy into it, and I bought into it for a couple of years before I said, ‘This ends right now. And I’m gonna be myself, and at least if I fail, I’m gonna fail to be me,’” the Red Notice actor added.
