Dwayne Johnson is currently very busy promoting Black Adam, the biggest project of his career, and he has made many decisions regarding his role in the DC universe. He wants DC to resurrect itself and become one of the top film franchises, similar to the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) or the Fast and the Furious, because he now wants people to have an opinion on their movie.
Dwayne Johnson has worked extremely hard his entire life and has achieved a lot. Now that he is part of the DCEU, he has more creative freedom because his input on the film’s plot is now important. Shazam was going to have Black Adam as a character, but he halted as he declared, “We’ll develop a whole new cast for him.”
Dwayne Johnson’s Black Adam is not a sequel to any old DC movie
In an interview, Dwayne Johnson said he did not want to give the public a sequel or anything else because the purpose of this film is to introduce the character. Two years ago, nobody knew who Black Adam is, what his powers are, how powerful he is, or anything else, but now interest in the character is growing.
According to Dwayne, the DC Universe will only respond to public demands going forward. If people want to see a fight between Black Adam and Superman on screen, we will accommodate them because this was a genuine demand. We are currently in discussions to fulfil this demand, but we must first gauge public opinion regarding Black Adam.
The fan requests will be taken into consideration rather than being implemented in accordance with previous plans, he claimed, adding that he had already predicted that this would usher in a new era for DC. Watch to see what the former WWE Champion does after working with the DCEU on his upcoming film.
Dwayne Johnson said, “What I meant by, ‘This is a new era in the DC Universe,’ is listening to the fans. And doing our best to give the fans what they want. Johnson stressed that ‘I have been listening and I’ve been wanting to address fans for years’ regarding the desire to have Black Adam and Superman fight on the big screen.”
