Determined to entertain people around the world, Dwayne Johnson has kept his nose to the grindstone all through WWE and Hollywood. After back-to-back blockbusters, Johnson has gained fame and love, and in recent years has also risen to the top of the highest-paid actors in the world.
But in the cosmos of controversy, the former WWE champion became embroiled in the “Snowflake Generation” scandal a few years ago, which earned him many negative headlines.
In the media, the “Snowflake Generation” controversy arose after overly emotional and rude people were referred to as “snowflakes.” To add spice to the matter, the Daily Star quoted Johnson as saying, “People are looking for reasons to be offended,” which got the “People’s Champion” in a lot of trouble with his fans.
However, the megastar later clarified that the quoted comments, and the interview used “never happened.” Dwayne Johnson called the whole thing a “fabrication” and addressed the fake words.
“The interview never happened, never happened, I never said any of those words, it’s completely untrue, 100 percent made up. I was pretty stunned when I woke up this morning… it’s not who I am and it’s not what we do.” –
While the controversy died down after Johnson’s revelation, the megastar apologized to the entire world. The former WWE Champion gained the trust of his fans, while editors eventually removed the source of the article.
