Dwayne Johnson hints at Acquiring A Major Executive Position In WWE, Reflects on the idea of the company being SOLD

Dwayne Johnson, who is better known as The Rock, might be looking to acquire an executive position in the company, Fightful has just reported. The update is quite big considering the fact how the dynamics of the company have evolved for the past few months since Vince McMahon announced his retirement from the company in July.
There’s no doubt that Dwayne Johnson is one of those rare athletes who have gone on to achieve greatness in every field they step in. Even after switching gears, Dwayne has only grown bigger and better in terms of stardom and popularity.
The former WWE legend who transitioned from being a pro wrestler to an actor, has made it big in the industry. Johnson better known by his ring name The Rock is in full swing these days to promote his upcoming venture- Black Adam. Johnson has also been an successful entrepreneur as he has garnered equal success in the entrepreniual realm as well.

Dwayne Johnson Reflects on Acquiring an Executive Position in WWE
In an interview given to BNN Bloomberg The Rock has discussed the possibility of joining WWE as an executive and according to him the move is on the cards. During the course of the interview Johnson was asked if he would like to be positioned as one of the Director in company’s board.
To which The Black Adam star replied- “Nick [Khan] and I have talked about that, and we always enjoy that over a bottle of Teremana [Johnson’s tequila brand]. I love the wrestling business. I grew up in it. My grandfather [and] my dad started here in Canada, where [his father] was born. So, I’m not quite too sure if a board seat is in my future, but possibly other things are in my future, for sure,” (H/T- Fightful).
Johnson said that though a seat in Board of Directors is not in contention right now but some other things are surely in talks with the current executives of the company. Further talking about a potential sale of the company, Dwayne Johnson said that he knows that even if Vince McMahon decides to sell the company he will sell it to someone who can understand the emotion behind the company.
Though Johnson said that it’s all cool to get intimidated by the asset and value that comes with it , one has to be in love with the wrestling business in order to run it. Johnson in the previous comment himself described that how he loves the Wrestling business could this be a huge hint for Dwayne Johnson actually buying the company down the line.
Well surely he has become a massive star outside WWE, people would not mind him to be the new owner of the company. Though, it needs to be seen if he really acquires an executive position in the company or not.
