The day his father died was the exact day he went for the shoot of his Red Notice movie and he had to ran away from the sets to attend his father’s funeral once he was informed of the tragedy.

After returning to the work, his Red Notice co-actors Ryan Reynolds and Gal Gadot massively extended their support towards Dwayne and helped him calm down his nerves a lot. Johnson later revealed in an interview that Reynolds hugged him straight away and said having her back the day he returned to sets and even recalled the giggles Gal Gadot had to crack every now and then which was a major pill of relief for The Great One to move forward in life.

“On the first day of filming, my dad died. The moment I walked in the door, Ryan gave me a big hug and said, ‘I got you, man’. The love, bond and brotherhood is there, Gal is always taking care of the people around her and has the most positive presence. Gal would get the giggles, then I would get the giggles, and then we would all go. I’ve never laughed as hard as I did on this film.”
