This is a very big dream project for Dwayne Johnson as he loves to play a supervillain and DC gave him this chance after a very big gap in years. Black Adam is a villain who can entirely wipe out all superheroes in DC and even go toe to toe against the strongest Superhero in history that is Superman.

When the idea of this mega villain was pitched to Dwayne he simply said that he does not want to do this thing like the idea DC has he simply revealed in a tweet that his Black Adam and Shazam were planned to be set up in a single movie as a normal hero-villain fight sequel he simply rejected it.

He made some phone calls and said that Shazam is way less popular than Black Adam and Shazam can have two origin stories but Black Adam cannot have that and needs a separate movie to be established as a threat to the whole world. He continued and said they should establish Shazam first in a separate movie and Black Adam in a separate one.

Shazam then was made which was a comedy and superhero movie and even did some good work at the box office but on the other hand, Shazam ended up teasing a new supervillain who will later be revealed as Black Adam. Black Adam is now set to be released in theaters soon and Johnson has a lot of hand in the movie other than acting.

“I made a phone call,” Former WWE wrestler says. “I said, ‘I have to share my thoughts here. It’s very unpopular…’ because everybody thought, ‘Hey, this script is great, let’s go make this movie.’ I said, ‘I think that you should make Shazam!, make that movie on its own in the tone that you want. And I think we should separate this as well.’”
