When CM Punk returned to WWE after a nine-year-long hiatus, all the social media records were broken. Many fans believed that his return couldn’t and wouldn’t be topped, but that turned out to be wrong. The Rock‘s return at the Day 1 edition of Monday Night Raw broke Punk’s record.

WWE’s official X handle shared a tweet acknowledging that The Great One’s return broke all the records with 171 million views on social media. The 51-year-old replied to the tweet and gave all the credit to the people who were so happy to see him.

The Rock further said this honor should not be dedicated to him, as he only tries to look cool and not to curse much in front of the live audience. According to the fans, the real credit goes to the ‘former WWE Champion Triple H.

He took to Instagram and announced that his league XFL has now merged with USFL under a new name, UFL. United Football League will have its inaugural season this spring. The 51-year-old further said it was a huge win for the fans and thanked them for their support.

Vince McMahon originally owned the XFL and is now going through its third season and first under the new ownership group of The Rock, Dani Garcia, and Garry Cardinale.
