WWE has been hotter than ever. One of the prime reasons for this is the return of the People’s Champion, The Rock. The Hollywood star came back to WWE. However, shortly after coming back, he pledged fealty to the Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns, and turned heel in the mix. Recently, Dwayne Johnson talked about his current persona in WWE.

During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, the ‘Brahma Bull’ stated that it was the appropriate time to return to WWE as another version of himself. The Hollywood star added that it is the time when he can say what every other person wants to say. The Rock briefly talked about his run in WWE, and even though it felt like it, he seems happy with what is happening right now.

The Great One came back to WWE in order to replace Cody Rhodes at the main event of WrestleMania. However, things turned in a different direction when the American Nightmare once again claimed his spot. It led to the ongoing rivalry between him and the People’s Champion. Last week on SmackDown, Rhodes even slapped the Hollywood star on SmackDown.

Besides, the current heel character of The Rock is a blend of his Hollywood Rock and his late 90s character. In essence, WWE has been planning to bring back the Hollywood Rock concerts as well as SmackDown. In fact, the wrestler-turned-actor is all set to have his first match in WWE in the last 8 years.

The Rock might wrestle more than once in 2024

The Rock is all set to face Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes alongside Roman Reigns at WrestleMania. The high-stakes match-up is all set to be the first match of the Brahma Bull in eight years. However, some reports suggest that he might lace up his wrestling boots more than once in the year 2024.

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, WWE is planning to feature The Rock at another event in 2024 other than WrestleMania. It is likely to be a Saudi Arabian show in May. However, keeping up with the ongoing story progression, it is less likely that The Rock’s role will be over after WrestleMania. Therefore, the Brahma Bull is slated for another match in Saudi Arabia.

It is going to be interesting to see if the former WWE Champion is going to wrestle more this year. Besides, only time will tell how things are going to go around him in his recent WWE run. As of now, his focus must be on the extravagant tag team of Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins at WrestleMania.
