The Great One, Dwayne Johnson is a generational talent. Having massive experience in the world of sports as well as tremendous success in Hollywood, Johnson is at the peak of his popularity. Dwayne, aka The Rock in WWE, was recently made a part of its parent company, TKO, as its Board of Directors. After he was appointed to the position, he rang the opening bell at the NYSE and was later interviewed.

During an interview on Fox News, Will Cain asked Johnson about his presidential status. The headlines a few months ago were about his interest in running for president. Rocky feels honored but continues to have no political intentions. He understands how the hype is coming and thus, thanked the people who voted for him, upscaling the data as this year is ramping up for elections.

The People’s Champion mentioned that he was approached by both parties. But his focus lay on being the best father to his little girls, picking them up and dropping them off at their school. If he ever has to go down the road of politics, which he does not intend to do, he will miss that part of fatherhood.

Dwayne now officially holds the trademark for ‘The Rock’ and is honored to create a legacy out of his ring name. Coming to his wrestling career, he is still in talks about facing the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns at some point this year, most likely at SummerSlam 2024. The dream match was earlier in the plans for WrestleMania 40 but Royal Rumble 2024 changed the course of those rumors.

In the same interview from Fox News, Dwayne Johnson was asked about facing Roman Reigns. The interview held before Royal Rumble 2024 still had hopes for Rocky’s match at WrestleMania 40 against The Tribal Chief.

The Rock had thoughts of being a long gamer so that he could shape a massive bout against Reigns. Coming from a family with a wrestling background, he is aware of the required build for WrestleMania and its success. His father, Rocky Johnson, and his grandfather worked at WWF, in the 80s.

Now that he has experienced multiple Manias, he considers the Rock-Roman match to be the biggest WrestleMania of all time. Circling back to the question, WWE is still figuring out the ways to do it. As of this writing, WrestleMania 40 is scheduled to have Cody Rhodes have his rematch against The Tribal Chief.
