One of the greatest wrestlers of all time is Edge. He is a legend, a former world champion, and a member of the Hall of Fame who is presently in his second WWE run. However, it is unclear how long this run will go. Edge has already said that he would retire the next year, so it won’t be long before we say goodbye to the Rated R Superstar.

After losing a crucial match at Extreme Rules against Finn Balor, The Master Manipulator is temporarily sidelined. Edge was recently questioned about his second stint in the WWE during an interview with The Nation Network, and he had some really interesting things to say about it.

Edge admitted that he had only considered retirement in Toronto when he first learned he may return to the ring. He was aware that this second stint would not last for very long, and that he would soon be returning to retirement, this time in Canada.

Edge said, “[I got to] start an amazing, beautiful family and the acting thing started to kind of take [off] a little but when I had the chance to get this back. The first thing I thought is, ‘I want to retire in Toronto. Because again, I know the window is not open for long. But if I can do it there, I think then I’ll be able to go right. I’m good.”

Edge thinks his partner in the tag team is underappreciated

Edge spoke about Cristian Cage, one of his closest friends and tag team partner in the WWE, when appearing with Kurt Angle on The Kurt Angle Show. Cristian has never been properly booked in the WWE, therefore he hasn’t had a proper run there.

Even when Cristian won the World Heavyweight Championship in the WWE, his two reigns with the titles were relatively brief, and he lost the titles both times to Randy Orton in a very unimpressive encounter. Vince McMahon never booked the former World Champion well.

Edge thinks Cristian might have become one of the greatest world champions of all time because he is far more gifted than how he was portrayed. Since Triple H is in charge of WWE right now, Cristian may make another appearance. He last appeared at the Royal Rumble.
