Edge to REUNITE with his former Tag Team partner to face The Judgement Day at Clash at The Castle

Edge and The Judgement Day’s feud is growing intense day by day and it seems that the final showdown is about to come. While Edge is not alone that has been frustrated with the fanatics of Judgement Day, the top heel faction also have a fair share of feud with The Mysterio’s as well. Last week, Edge had defeated Damian Priest in a single’s match.

But was quickly attacked by the other members of Judgement Day including Rhea Ripley and Finn Balor. Before they could’ve caused more damage , the Rated R superstar’s wife and former WWE Diva Beth Pheonix made the save for him. After the appearance many fans had started anticipating that Edge and Beth Pheonix could be involved in a mixed Tag match at Clash at The Castle.

Edge and Rey Mysterio to unite as a Tag Team after 20 years

Mysterio and Edge had won WWE Tag Team Championships for a very brief period of time in 2002.

But now it has been confirmed that Edge will indeed be teaming up with a former partner but it’s not Beth Pheonix. If you’ve started guessing by now, then you’re guessing it right. The former WWE Champion will be teaming up with his former Tag Team partner Rey Mysterio to take on Finn Balor and Damain Priest at Clash at The Castle.

The duo had won the Tag Team Championship for a very brief period of time in 2002, and have a great in ring chemistry with each other. Though Mysterio choosing Edge over his son might not have went well with Dominik but indeed it would be exciting to see two wrestling greats returning back to action together as tag team partners.

The Mysterio’s and The Rated R Superstar confronted The Judgement Day on Raw this week as the match was made official for the September 3rd Premium live event which is scheduled to be held in Cardiff. The fact which makes it more interesting is that both the legends will be teaming with each other after a span of 20 years.

While the match is slated to be a great one with all technical wrestlers being involved, the role of ringside players will also be crucial in determining the winner as well. While Rhea Ripley will be assisting The Judgement Day from the ringside, Mysterio and Edge will have the support of Dominik Mysterio in their corner in this battle of Experience Vs. Youngblood of the company.
