SPOILER : EDGE will team up with this Legend and Former Divas Champion for a Major Tag-Team match at WWE Clash at the Castle
Edge was blown away by the support he got from his hometown last night on Raw
We all saw that passion once again in the eyes of The Rated-R Superstar Edge last night when he battle Damian Priest in his first one on one match on Monday Night Raw in over a decade and that too in front of his hometown crowd of Toronto. The Master Manipulator came out with a deafening ovation and was just soaking in every bit of energy his family and friends in Toronto were producing by cheering at the top of their voices.
After going through 19 minutes of back and forth action, The Rated-R Superstar wants to end The Judgement Day once and for all and he would desperately needs someone to alongside him and Beth to achieve the target. Edge found himself in the ring with Priest and referee Charles Robinson taken out by a minor accident so he decided to to play some old tricks and revert some favour back to his former Judgement Day ally Damian Priest by applying a face lock using a broken piece of the steel chair. Although, when Edge was about to spear Priest he countered with that piece right to the face of Edge but to an only nearfall.
After that, we saw an jaw-dropping and catastrophic Canadian Destroyer from the Hall of Famer followed up with his patent Spear to pick up a grueling victory over The Punisher of The Judgement Day. After the match, Rhea Ripley low-blowed him from behind and Finn Balor executed a Coup-de grace to add the pain. Just when they were about to destroy Edge, the Glamazon Beth Phoenix who was in attendance to support her husband came into play with a steel chair of her own and ran The Judgement Day out of the equation. Even though Rhea Ripley was willing to fight Beth, both Priest and Balor somehow managed to hold her back and left the ring.
Who will come to the aid of Edge and Beth Phoenix against The Judgement Day?
As we look at the current scenario, the legendary duo of Edge and Beth Phoenix are currently outnumbered by the trio of Balor, Priest and Ripley and they badly need someone in their corner. The most obvious name that comes to our mind is Rey Mysterio who also has been a victim of The Judgement Day over the past few weeks and he could definitely return to take his revenge over the heels.
Well, it pretty much seems like the case as Dave Meltzer is reporting that by the looks of last night, WWE is building up for a 6 person Mixed Tag-Team match for Clash at the Castle. Rey Mysterio is expected to join Edge and Beth against The Judgement Day next month in Cardiff.
