After making an anti-climatic exit from WWE after SummerSlam, everyone thought Ronda Rousey retired from pro wrestling. However, that perception was shattered when The Rowdy One made a shocking appearance during last month’s Lucha VaVOOm event. She joined forces with her longtime comrade Marina Shafir to oust the duo of Brian Kendrick and Taya Valkyrie.

After such an impressive showing, Rousey has received an invitation. In a laconic conversation with Fightful, Rocky Romero of NJPW said he’s all for Ronda Rousey in the promotion. More specifically, the 41-year-old raved about Ronda’s potential future with NJPW’s sister company, Stardom. Touting Rousey’s judoka background, Romero argued that she fits better in NJPW than any other company in Japan.

I’m all for [Rousey in New Japan Strong/Stardom]. I’ve never met Ronda. I’m on [Wrestling REVOLVER Unreal]. I definitely look forward to connecting with her. If there is ever a possibility that Ronda could show up on a New Japan show and maybe it Stardom, it could be awesome.

Those talks are too lucrative and might take a long time to come closer to reality. However, The Baddest Woman on the Planet will be on Fite TV this Wednesday. That said, she’s slated to make her debut for Wrestling Revolver in Los Angeles. The event aims to raise funds for those affected by the calamitous wildfires on Maui. It appears that Ronda Rousey has decided to serve the victims at this stage of her career.

Why Ronda Rousey faced Shayna Baszler in her last WWE match?

When Ronda knew that her time was up in WWE, she decided to bow out in the most touching way possible. In the process, she feuded with Shayna Baszler, the woman whom she introduced to the realm of the UFC. Ronda went on to become a household name in this business. However, Baszler didn’t get to such inaccessible heights as her friend.

Likewise, Shayna brought the former UFC Bantamweight Champion to WWE. Hence, to pay off her dues, Rousey took it upon herself to put Baszler over in WWE. At SummerSlam, The Queen of Spades ousted Rousey in an MMA Rules match. And that was it. Rousey did her job and that eventually drove her out of WWE.

Though the match felt flat, it was supposed to put Shayna Baszler over, and it did. There’s little to no belief that Ronda Rousey will ever return to WWE. She accomplished almost everything over there and can live with the accolades with her head held high.
