UPDATE : WWE Extreme Rules undergoing heavy demand for ticket sales, shocking numbers guarantee a SOLD-OUT
Extreme Rules
Extreme Rules is the next and upcoming premium live event in WWE’s event calendar. It will emanate from the Wells Fargo Center located in Philadelphia on October 8. Although there are still more than 2 weeks left for the gimmick event, the fans have already declared their interest loud and clear.
The ticket sales for Extreme Rules have been doing pretty well and WrestleTix reported the latest set of numbers via his Patreon that might surprise some of you. According to the update, the arena is currently opened for 12,102 seats including the ringside floor seats, the lower level sections and the upper decks and they’ve sold 10,881 tickets out of the available lot.
Just to be very clear, the post noted that there are still some unopened upper decks that will be uncurtained depending upon the demand. But leaving all of this aside, the event in the city of Brotherly Love is heading towards a legit sold out and probably might end up being the same very soon.

What can we expect from this year’s Extreme Rules card?
Usually, we can term this event as a testament to wrestler’s own personal grudges with someone else. Boiling rivalries, bad blood between one another and the rage to end ones career is what this event is reserved for. With out better understanding some of the matches that we can expect will be Seth Rollins vs. Matt Riddle with some sort of stipulation and could possibly main-event the show.
Others include a confirmed Extreme Rules match between Liv Morgan and Ronda Rousey for the Smackdown Women’s Championship, and we can also see some more rematches including Sheamus vs. Gunther going one more time for the prestigious Intercontinental Championship.
Also, a main-event non title match between Drew McIntyre and Karrion Kross seems highly likely considering the fact that Roman Reigns won’t be working this event. Let’s just wait and see what will the final match card will look like on paper for the WWE Universe.
