WWE superstars’ entrance and theme music often change the entirety of their careers. They are generally produced keeping wrestlers’ onscreen personas in mind. That said, former Tag Team Champion Sami Zayn seemingly faced a major technical botch during his entrance on the latest edition of Monday Night Raw.

After a week of absence from the red brand, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens appeared this week on the red brand. The Canadian duo interrupted Michael Cole’s exclusive interview with the brand-new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions, Jey Uso and Cody Rhodes.

When they came out, initially Sami’s original theme song hit the arena, but the production team erroneously reverted to his old Bloodline theme song, leaving the crowd stupefied. Even Owens and Zayn seemed slightly surprised. The latter also noted that he hadn’t heard that music in a while.

However, it remains unclear whether the goof-up was intentional or accidental. Better Wrestling Experience on X allegedly reported that the shift in theme music was simply a matter of oversight. Moreover, taking Sami Zayn’s clarification into account, it does indeed seem like an unintended blunder from the production team.
