Ronda Rousey is the new Smackdown Women's Champion
Extreme Rules 2022 is now written in the history books and it was a beautiful sight to behold overall. The show had many awe-inspiring and extreme moments that fans are going to cherish for years to come. Of course, Bray Wyatt’s jaw-dropping return was the one that made everyone scream at the top of their voices and rejoice.
His return couldn’t have been done more perfectly as every layer of Wyatt’s characters including Mercy the Buzzard, Rambling Rabbit, The Fiend etc were shown inside the arena particularly with the music, “He’s got the whole in his hands” playing in the background. Then came the big reveal when Bray finally kicked that door on the stage and keep out with his iconic lamp drawing nuclear crowd reaction.
Apart from this spectacle after the main-event, the rest show was solid too. One of the two Championship matches on the entire card however drew some fan backlash as Ronda Rousey ended Liv Morgan’s reign at the 98th day mark.
Their match had some stiff moments even lacking chemistry at points from the two women. It sure as hell wasn’t smooth but the night turned even worse when Rousey dug deep into her arsenal and applied a unique looking submission maneuver on Morgan, but instead of agonising in pain, there was a sick smile on her face which was a little intimidating as well. However, Liv Morgan passed out and Ronda Rousey got crowned as the new Smackdown Women’s Champion in the process.

WWE Universe lambasted the decision of letting Ronda Rousey win
The match finish drew polarizing reactions from the fans with majority of them in against of the newly crowned champion. They even smell a Vince McMahon type of booking there questioning the creative mindset behind that move. Liv Morgan really started to uplift herself as the Champion in recent weeks and WWE snatched away that title away from her when she needed the most. You can check several of those reactions below.
