“Y’all wanted this on SummerSlam?”- Wrestling Twitter unloads its fury over Trish Stratus horrendously botching her maneuver over Becky Lynch on Raw

Call it ring rust or lapse in communication, but Trish Stratus did botch one of her popular moves against Becky Lynch. Last night on Raw, these women partook in a highly anticipated rematch. Unlike the expectations, WWE didn’t even bother to let them main-event the show. However, after what the fans witnessed from Stratus and Lynch, not having them go on last was probably a wise decision from WWE.

That said, those who witnessed it live already know how sloppy of a match that was. Right from the opening bell, neither woman seemed lucid. From clumsy movements to ineffective jabs, the entire match passed away as if nothing happened. The only noteworthy part came when Trish botched her Stratusphere maneuver over the former Big Time Becks.

At first, Trish Stratus didn’t land her footing exactly where she needed it to. But, an argument can also be made that probably Becky should’ve caught Trish’s legs to cover up for the mistake. However, that didn’t happen as Stratus had to try again. Thankfully, she got it right on the second attempt. The said miscue can be seen below. Outraged at the sight, fans are even questioning whether their rumored match was worthy enough to happen at SummerSlam.

Despite uninspiring crowd engagement from Winnipeg, both women tried to make something out of nothing. However, after having enough in the ring, Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus went to the other side of the barricades. And just like that, they began slugging it out amidst of the WWE Universe. Before that, the match was already called off due to a double count-out.

WWE Universe extremely disappointed by the outcome of Trish Stratus vs. Becky Lynch

Fans tuned into Raw thinking tonight would put an exclamation point to the overly milked saga of Becky Lynch and Trish Stratus. However, as opposed to what everyone manifested for, these women ain’t done yet. Following a dubious conclusion to their matchup on Raw, they brawled till the concourse area. Zoey Stark joined her mentor to completely annihilate Becky Lynch. Such an ending and Trish’s earlier botch of Lynch prompted the fans to vent their frustration.

As perceived through the aforementioned reactions, almost no one wanted to see this feud continue. But it’s happening, nonetheless. After Stratus and Zoey maliciously attacked Becky at the concourse, the former duo ran into Adam Pearce backstage. Irate over their cheap tactics, Pearce said it’s not going to end like that. Instead, to keep Stark away from further interferences, the WWE official announced a Steel Cage match between Lynch & Stratus.
