Tonight, it was about Jade Cargill‘s WrestleMania debut, Bianca Belair‘s redemption arc against The Damage CTRL with Naomi sharing the same vision. The villainous stable was out first. However, the babyface trio was handed a special entrance. Each of them emanated from a podium.

The Damage CTRL started off hot. Dakota Kai was spot-on with her cheap shots and Kairi Sane hitting an insane elbow early in the match was off the charts. Once Naomi tagged Bianca Belair in, she wreaked havoc. But the fans in attendance wanted a certain storm to take center stage. The EST, like a true babyface, gave the Philly crowd exactly what they asked for.

Jade Cargill received that hot tag, and she stood out. Neither Sane, Kai, nor Asuka could evade the wrath of the former AEW TBS Champion. During the closing moments, Belair caught The Empress of Tomorrow with a whiplashing smash from her braid across her sternum. Jade was the one who navigated her side towards victory over The Damage CTRL by pinning Dakota Kai.

As one would imagine, that 6-woman tag team car crash didn’t last that long. However, Cargill, Belair, and Naomi came out of it as if they were reinvigorated. Meanwhile, their opponents, Dakota and The Kabuki Warriors, dropped the ball. Their leader, Iyo Sky, is slated to defend her Women’s Championship against Bayley tomorrow night.

And for sure, The Genius of the Sky would not be happy with how her stablemates fared on Saturday.
With Jade Cargill now a bright singles prospect on SmackDown, the question arises: what would that do to her camaraderie with the ladies she teamed up in Philadelphia.

WWE fans are divided over Jade Cargill-led Damage CTRL’s WrestleMania loss

For a match that ended up being 8 minutes and 5 seconds bell-to-bell, the fans had a lot to nitpick. As much as they loved the babyfaces making quick work of their opponents, a few claimed that The Storm couldn’t wrestle.

Another annoyed individual mocked the match for being way shorter than expected. Much stronger words from a fan evinced that it was the worst women’s tag team match at WrestleMania. According to them, WWE could’ve brought in newest NXT prospect, Giulia.

Not everyone though that the aforementioned bout fell flat. There was a bunch of fans who thought that the all-woman tussle was brusque but solid. Most of them adored seeing Jade, Bianca, and Naomi as a trio. Meanwhile, one even wondered why Damage CTRL was handed the loss.
