Speaking on one of the recent editions of Foley is Pod podcast via Inside The Ropes, the Hardcore Legend faced the question about his interest level in returning to the wrestling business as an onscreen manager. Addressing the question, the 58-year-old stated that he cannot name anyone off the cuff. However, the Hall of Famer looked back to when The Man Becky Lynch wanted the former in a managerial role for her.

I can’t think of anybody offhand. Because honestly, I don’t think I have much to offer in a managerial role. Do you know who’s always wanted me to do an angle, like from a managerial perspective? Becky Lynch. She’s pointed that out a few times. I said, ‘Becky, if you can talk to the powers that be, I would,’ but she’s doing really well on her own.

Nonetheless, this idea never came to life. And Lynch has found great success in the company without anyone as her mouthpiece. Furthermore, Foley stated that he believed that Lynch was fantastic on her own merit. Thus, he didn’t feel like the 36-year-old needed his managerial services. He concluded the answer by expressing his openness to offering his managerial service to someone who could benefit from it.
