WWE has somewhat hit the snooze button on their weekly programming for the holiday season. They continue to get things done in the backend. Recently, reports emerged that 14-time World Champion Charlotte Flair has inked a multi-year agreement with WWE. Along the same lines, Bayley has also signed on the dotted line for years to come.

Prominent media outlet Fightful Select has corroborated PWInsider‘s report. However, the length of Bayley’s new WWE contract remains a secret. Some believe the contract has several years. There were some conspicuous concerns among her fans owing to The Role Model’s dismal booking on WWE television of late. Some even thought she might bid farewell to the Stamford-based promotion once her deal was up.

Now that she has re-signed with WWE, all the hoo-hah about her future no longer remains a concern. At the moment, Bayley is among the top heels on SmackDown, along with her Damage CTRL comrades. She’s had a bumpy road in the all-women’s stable ever since Iyo Sky became the Women’s Champion. The recent additions of Asuka and Kairi Sane have completely stirred the pot, and the group’s hierarchical structure has undergone a major overhaul.

The Damage CTRL remains engrossed in a multi-woman feud with the likes of Bianca Belair, Shotzi, Michin, and Zelina Vega. As a result, they’re slated to collide in an 8-woman Holiday Havoc tag team match on this Friday’s SmackDown, which has already been taped, and the spoilers can be read here.

Is Bayley primed for a memorable 2024 in WWE?

Two weeks ago on SmackDown, Bayley became the first woman to declare herself for the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble match. After doing so, she vowed to come after Rhea Ripley‘s Women’s World Championship once The Role Model outclasses 29 other women in that highly-coveted field at the Royal Rumble.

It could be a great women’s match for WrestleMania 40; however, there’s a more intriguing option. If Bayley does end up winning the Women’s Rumble match next month, she could turn the tables on Iyo Sky, the one who has looked down on Bayley quite a few times now.

Iyo has seemingly upstaged her stablemate as the new leader of the pack. And it would be a sight to behold if Bayley eventually decides to put an end to her misery and pledges to come back to winning ways.
