The NFL playoffs are currently at the center of attention in sports. In the latest piece of action, the Green Bay Packers pulled off a shock win against the Dallas Cowboys in the Wild Card round. The first half caught fans’ eyes as the Packers dominated the proceedings, sealing the game there itself. With the online discussions surrounding the same, the FOX-run WWE account on ‘X’ compared it to Rey Mysterio whooping his son, Dominik Mysterio‘s a** at WrestleMania.

In a hilarious post, the network posted the still from the entertaining father-son bout at the Showcase of Immortals. The first quarter saw the Green Bay Packers trout their opponents 7-0, with the second quarter adding to the Dallas Cowboys’ misery, taking the tally to 27-7. A decent second half couldn’t save the latter, with the Packers booking a ticket to face the San Francisco 49ers in the divisional round.

The WWE on FOX account hasn’t shied away from taking jabs or using WWE scenarios to compare to situations in other sports. Recently, they took a subtle shot at the Jacksonville Jaguars‘ loss as well. Moreover, this was fueled by the fact that the team is owned by Shahid Khan, the father of AEW CEO Tony Khan.

Meanwhile, the USA Network account has a similar knack of trolling online. In fact, this led to Tony launching a scathing attack due to a comment by the account. However, the WWE Universe has enjoyed the quirky posts uploaded by the company’s networks.

WWE Superstar Braun Strowman celebrated the Packers’ victory

The Green Bay Packers advanced in the NFL playoffs with an upset win over the Dallas Cowboys. WWE Superstar, Braun Strowman, reacted to the shocking victory on his ‘X’ account. Previously, the former Universal Champion has expressed his love for the team on multiple occasions.

The Monster Among Men visited Lambeau Field, where he talked about supporting the Packers. Furthermore, he revealed that Vince Lombardi was his favorite player in the history of the team. Another star, Liv Morgan, also celebrated the playoff win. 

The injured star gifted the NFL Legacy Title to the Green Bay Packers in December. WWE has established a deal with the league, creating special championships for every team barring the Jaguars. In addition to that, talent has visited stadiums to support their respective favorite teams throughout the season.
