Old friends never get apart. So being said, Edge's mentor and former ally Gangrel has issued his services towards the Rated-R Superstar to fight against The Judgment Day.

If things run out of control for the Rated-R Superstar, he’s already got some backing. At the moment, Edge and Beth Phoenix are involved in an embroiling rivalry with The Judgment Day. The Grit Couple is set to collide with Finn Balor and Rhea Ripley at the Elimination Chamber this Saturday. This has been a long time coming for both sides as they now look to close the book on each other.
However, things aren’t going to be as simple as they seem for the Hall of Famers. Despite the show being in Edge’s motherland of Canada, The Judgment Day will be there to ensure the mixed tag bout isn’t a cakewalk for the Copelands. That being said, Edge & Beth are currently outnumbered by the villainous stable and the babyfaces might need some additional backup.
Edge’s former stablemate Gangrel can be that man for the Grit Couple. While speaking with K&S WrestleFest, the 54-year-old confirmed his availability to intervene in his buddy’s business. Considering Gangrel’s detoriating physical condition, it’s a bold statement by the Brood’s former leader.
“He’s got his wife; she’s all jacked up. She’s looking great. She’s got his back,” Gangrel said. “If he wants more though, I’d be down for that. I guess the stars have to align.”

What’s the endgame of this Edge/Judgment Day saga?
It’s been almost a year since The Judgment Day came into existence. Everyone is well-versed with the entire history of this modern day stable. After wiping off the Finn Balor led group in Montreal, plans call for an eventual one-on-one showdown between Edge & Balor at WrestleMania 39. Not just a traditional singles bout, reports suggest that it can be a Hell in a Cell match.
Previously, the square off was supposed to happen at the Royal Rumble this year. However, due to Edge’s other commitments for Percy Jackson and The Olympians, plans got scrapped. But now, the stage is set, and under the bright lights of Hollywood, Edge will seek ultimate retribution from The Prince. There’s hell to pay between these two masters of their game.
So far, the Master Manipulator hasn’t been able to completely outclass the first ever WWE Universal Champion and his goons. Whenever one member of The Judgment Day looked vulnerable, the other one stood up. But, Edge doesn’t enjoy such royalties. He only have his wife Beth Phoenix to take care of business. This Saturday in Montreal, a new chapter will be written in the already stored case of all the characters.
