“I’m not the number ONE main character in it anymore” Goldberg feels he is being taken for granted
Goldberg
Goldberg has been impressing people with his skills for over 20 years now. His extraordinary passion for WWE made him return to the company after a long gap of 12 years. During this time, his primary focus remained acting. His return in 2016 made him even stronger. He won the WWE Universal Championship twice after the same.
Goldberg has remained the highlight of the WWE for a long time. Being the part of the main event for multiple then pay per view events, he ruled the hearts of the WWE audience. His last match in the ring was at the Elimination Chamber against Roman Reigns. Roman Reigns defeated him by technical submission.

Goldberg does not feel the ‘Main Character’ anymore
Guillotine Choke has become the strength of Roman Reigns in recent years. Many of his opponents have tasted the move and have admitted that they wouldn’t live to have it again. Goldberg also has a similar view for the same. He, however, understands the reason the management is creating such a storyline.
“The way that they use the Goldberg character, granted, yeah. But it lends itself to the storyline to ultimately tell the big picture. And the big picture, I’m not the number one main character in it anymore, but if I can be used in the proper way to elevate or to destroy somebody, then I’m all for it,” said Goldberg in a podcast. The defeat he suffered from Roman Reigns has cost him his confidence too.
This match was his last for the current contract that Goldberg has signed with the company. With Vince McMahon retiring and Triple H taking charge of the WWE, things are turning pretty interesting. Many celebrities have returned to the ring under Triple H’s plans. Can he be included in the same?
Roman Reigns is the current WWE Undisputed Universal Champion. He will now be facing Drew McIntyre at the WWE Clash At The Castle for the title. A majority of the audience is on the side of McIntyre. We’ll have to wait and see how things unfold on D-Day.
