Goldberg discusses how his INAUGRAL WCW Championship means nothing to him

In the world of sports, Goldberg is well-known as a successful individual. Even though he has little wrestling experience, he has managed to build a successful career out of what he does know, and he was a hugely dominant force in the WWE’s predecessor company WCW.

Goldberg established his career there while he was on a winning streak and unbeaten for a considerable amount of time. Even though he had won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, he recently said in an episode of The Roman Atwood podcast that the victory was meaningless.

He admitted that even though he had defeated Kevin Nash and Hulk Hogan to win the company’s top award that evening, NWO had ganged up on him and used the number game to bind the large, strong force to the turnbuckle, rendering him useless.

He revealed that all of them were making fun of him because he was stuck there when the show went off the air. Goldberg said, “It’s not because I won. It’s not because I was the champion. It’s not because I beat Scott Hall earlier in the night and I beat Hulk Hogan that night. It was because at the end of the night when we went off the air, the nWo handcuffed me to the corner turnbuckle and beat the living poo out of me”

Goldberg talks about making a ring return

WCW icon recently claimed that his contract with WWE is about to expire and that he appears to no longer want to wrestle as he is now 55. Instead, he wants other young wrestlers who will be the future of the wrestling profession to demonstrate their talent right away.

Goldberg stated that he wants to be with WWE but that it will be tough for him to perform in the ring because it will be difficult to create storylines and opponents for him, and another run as a world champion in WWE is currently all but impossible.
